What We Do

Welcome to Meno Wellness

MENO Wellness is a supportive community for women, through group sessions and events we will support women along their menopause journey. Every women experiences perimenopause and menopause differently, by coming together and sharing our experiences we can support each other, along with practical information and advice around health, wellbeing, diet and exercise, supplementation and more we will arm you with the tools to help you thrive.

My Story

As a fitness professional I have taught in the community for over thirty years. Since way back when the Green Goddess and Jane Fonda were still on the scene I have taught many different types of exercise classes from Reebok Step to callanetics and met thousands of different women of all ages and abilities. Providing many eating and exercise plans, given advice and mentored many women over the years, keeping up to date with the latest trends and updating my knowledge on a constant basis. 

All of this has led me to Meno Wellness, reflecting on all of the advice and help I have given to women over the years, as a younger me I missed that one link that could have made more of a difference....menopause and the impact it has on our bodies and minds. 

For many years menopause has been a taboo subject, something that was rarely spoken about or mentioned as a possible cause for many issues women within society have to deal with. Depression, stress, anxiety, weight gain, fatigue, the list goes on. In all of the training sessions I did to improve my knowledge within the fitness world there was very little mention or focus on the impact hormones have on the body. 

It wasn't until my own body changed and I experienced certain symptoms that I decided to look into it further. After completing a fitness and nutrition programme focussing on perimenopause and menopause I did more in-depth study completing a course to become a Menopause  Practitioner. 

I believe life is for living and we can not allow this stage of our lives to define us, we are in control, we are strong and we can thrive together.
